Positioned on the family farm, the home has been carefully orientated to frame the three mountain peaks it overlooks while capturing all-day sun and uninterrupted panoramic views. Designed as a forever home, every decision was made with longevity, sustainability, and connection to the land in mind. With farming and environmental stewardship at the heart of the family's values, the home reflects not only the landscape it sits within but also the lifestyle they cherish.
Working alongside Three Sixty Architecture, we delivered a home that combines exceptional design with practical rural living. Strong pavilion rooflines, expansive glazing, and a timeless blend of cedar, aluminium, and brick create a striking architectural presence that feels perfectly at home in its surroundings.
Inside, the layout balances functionality with warmth. Separate living wings provide privacy for the master suite while offering comfortable accommodation for family and guests. The expansive kitchen and open-plan living spaces seamlessly connect with the outdoors, while the sunken lounge—designed to follow the natural contours of the land—creates an inviting retreat and one of the home's defining features.
The interiors, created in collaboration with Lume Design and our clients, are beautifully resolved. Textured finishes, custom oak joinery, natural stone, solid timber flooring, and layered earthy tones combine to create spaces that feel refined, timeless, and welcoming. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the home is both elegant and effortlessly liveable.
For our team, this project was a privilege to be part of. Building in a remote rural location required precise project management, meticulous planning, and close collaboration between the clients, architects, designers, and our construction team. Delivered on time and within budget, Loburn Pavilions is a home that reflects the values of the family who will enjoy it for generations—a project we are incredibly proud to have brought to life.
